3 Ingredient Banana Bread Roll

This is a recipe adapted from the 2 ingredient bagels, and all I did was to add bananas into the picture!

Super easy to do, takes so little time, and best of all, the bananas provided natural sweetness that caramelized in the oven so you’ll be able to get a cinnamon roll kind of feeling from these rolls!

Ingredients:

  • Greek yoghurt
  • Self raising flour
  • Bananas

I use a 1:1 ratio for the ingredients in general and they always turn out great! Just a note, the more you flour the surface, the more flour gets incorporated into the dough, then the harder the bread roll will become.

You just need to use the same dough, roll them into long logs, and then flatten and insert with the bananas! For every piece of banana, I do one flap to roll. Leave space at the end so you’ll get a cohesive round shape.

You might find that the dough doesn’t stick together well because of the floured surface. All you need to do to combat this, is use egg wash. For this egg wash, I added a spoonful of butter so that it becomes more savory. The egg wash will help you to combine the ends so they stick together.

Time to get your hands dirty!
